This manual is written by Bruce Barton and Lorrie Clemmo, both are experienced dog handlers and trainers. Bruce has been working SAR dogs for over 15 years and has over 50 actual operational finds between his two German Shepherds. Bruce has trained and worked with K-9's from across the world over the past 25 years, and his experiences include many major national and international disasters as well as hundreds of wilderness and water searches. Lorrie has been training dogs and horses for over 20 years and brings an effective no nonsense fashion to this manual. You will not spend time reading about their lives or their SAR stories, you will be given an easy to follow training program in an outline format and a video that shows what they are telling you in the manual.
The video is professionally produced and edited by a fine Washington D.C. area production house and runs approx. 40 minutes.
